Suspension Energy Recovery System, SERS

An automotive shock absorber technology, that improves ride comfort and overall vehicle efficiency by generating electricity from road bumps and potholes.

  • Deploys a cost-effective power generator unit, integrated to standard air/hydraulic dampers.
  • Converts kinetic energy from motion of vehicle suspension into electrical energy.
  • Produced energy is stored in batteries and utilized to power  in-vehicle systems.
  • Provides electronic damping control (i.e. suspension settings can be changed on press of a button/automatically to optimize passenger ride comfort/vehicle performance depending on terrain).
